AC repair in Tucson, AZ
When your air conditioner stops in the Arizona heat, you need someone who finds the real problem and fixes it right. Family-owned, licensed, bonded and insured, with 24/7 service for urgent cooling problems.
Air conditioning repair Tucson homeowners can trust.
Air conditioners in Tucson work harder than almost anywhere in the country. Long, hot summers, dust storms and monsoon humidity wear down parts that would last much longer elsewhere. When something goes wrong, Arctic Cowboy finds the root cause instead of guessing, explains what we found in plain language and gives you clear, honest options before any work starts.
Brandon and Kelly Sill run Arctic Cowboy as a family business, and customers often mention that Brandon tried to get their unit working efficiently rather than sell them a new one. We repair central air conditioners, heat pumps and ductless mini-splits from all major brands across Tucson, Catalina Foothills, Casas Adobes, Oro Valley, Marana, Tanque Verde, Vail, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Sierra Vista, SaddleBrooke, Oracle and Red Rock.

Knowledgeable and proficient! Brandon was interested in getting the unit working efficiently, not trying to sell me a new one. My unit is 20 years old and he took the time to clean the blower and other parts. He gave me good honest work at a fair price!
Arctic Cowboy was awesome from top to bottom. They were able to get to my AC issue quickly and on the weekend! Brandon was professional, communicative and thorough. Kelly was responsive, courteous and professional.
They figured out an issue with my thermostat that every other company swore up and down was working. Was a simple wiring mistake at the thermostat. The level of detail they go into is impressive.
Brandon showed up and got straight to work despite the heat outside. … I would 100% recommend using Arctic Cowboy for all your heating and cooling needs they get their work done and do a great job!
Arctic Cowboy is a family owned and run business that provided me with exceptional service. Brandon gave me several different options with a variety of budgets…
Questions
AC repair questions from Tucson homeowners.
Have a different question? Call or text 520-633-9931.
See all questionsWhy is my AC running but not cooling my house?
The most common causes are a clogged air filter, a dirty outdoor condenser coil (very common after Tucson dust storms and monsoon season), a failed capacitor, a frozen evaporator coil or low refrigerant from a leak. Change the filter and make sure the outdoor unit is clear. If you see ice on the lines or the system still blows warm air, turn it off and call us so a small problem does not become a compressor failure.
Do you offer 24/7 emergency AC repair in Tucson?
Yes. Office hours are Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and we offer 24/7 service availability for urgent heating and cooling problems. After hours, call or text 520-633-9931 and our team will help you as quickly as possible. Cowboy Comfort Plan members pay no extra after-hours or holiday fee for diagnostic appointments.
Should I repair or replace my air conditioner or heat pump?
If your system is fairly young and the repair is reasonable, repairing it usually makes sense. If it is older, breaks down often or your energy bills keep rising, a high-efficiency replacement can cost less over time. We only recommend the repairs or replacements your system truly needs, and we explain both options honestly so you can decide.
How fast can you come out for AC repair in Tucson?
Call or text 520-633-9931 and we will give you the earliest available time. We work Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and offer 24/7 service for urgent cooling problems. In the Tucson heat, an AC that stops working can be a safety issue for children, older adults and pets.
What AC brands do you repair?
We repair all major brands of central air conditioners, heat pumps and ductless mini-splits. We are a Mitsubishi Electric Preferred Diamond Dealer and install American Standard systems, and we service most other brands too.
Is it worth repairing an older air conditioner?
Often, yes. If the system is in good working order and has not needed many major repairs, a repair and a good cleaning can keep it running for years. If it keeps breaking down or is outdated and less efficient, we explain the replacement options honestly so you can decide.
Do you offer HVAC financing in Tucson?
Yes. We offer 0% deferred interest financing and several other terms through Wisetack and Synchrony for qualified customers, with $0 down options. Financing can be used for system replacements, new installations, repairs and commercial work. Prequalifying uses a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score, and we are happy to walk you through the options by phone.
