Vail sits higher than central Tucson, so winter nights get noticeably colder and your heating works harder. A furnace or heat pump that struggles on the first cold night is a common call in the fall. In summer, your air conditioner still has to handle triple-digit days.

I got 5 estimates for a new furnace and AC unit. Brandon really made me feel comfortable with how he knew exactly what needed to be done. … He and Kelly are in business for all the right reasons. Great customer service and good pricing for the working people of this area.
Knowledgeable and proficient! Brandon was interested in getting the unit working efficiently, not trying to sell me a new one. My unit is 20 years old and he took the time to clean the blower and other parts. He gave me good honest work at a fair price!
Arctic Cowboy was awesome from top to bottom. They were able to get to my AC issue quickly and on the weekend! Brandon was professional, communicative and thorough. Kelly was responsive, courteous and professional.
They figured out an issue with my thermostat that every other company swore up and down was working. Was a simple wiring mistake at the thermostat. The level of detail they go into is impressive.
Our furnace went on the fritz. We called one of the better-known firms to see if they could fix it. After three tries with no success we decided to try someone else. We called Arctic cowboy who promptly arrived and diagnosed the problem and got our heater back online.

See all questionsDo you offer heating repair in Vail, AZ?
Yes. We repair gas furnaces, heat pumps and thermostats in Vail, and offer 24/7 service for urgent heating problems. Call or text 520-633-9931.
Why is my heat pump blowing cool air on cold Vail nights?
On cold nights a heat pump runs short defrost cycles, which can feel cool for a few minutes. If it blows cold air for a long time, the house will not warm up, or the outdoor unit stays iced over, call us for a check.
Do you install mini-splits in Vail?
Yes. We install Mitsubishi ductless mini-splits for homes, casitas, garages and workshops in Vail.
Should I repair or replace my air conditioner or heat pump?
If your system is fairly young and the repair is reasonable, repairing it usually makes sense. If it is older, breaks down often or your energy bills keep rising, a high-efficiency replacement can cost less over time. We only recommend the repairs or replacements your system truly needs, and we explain both options honestly so you can decide.
Do you offer HVAC financing in Tucson?
Yes. We offer 0% deferred interest financing and several other terms through Wisetack and Synchrony for qualified customers, with $0 down options. Financing can be used for system replacements, new installations, repairs and commercial work. Prequalifying uses a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score, and we are happy to walk you through the options by phone.
